Sheila Wilson, Executive Director HarborChase of Huntsville, has enjoyed a rich history in start-up and turnaround communities for over twenty years. Her passion for caring came naturally as the eldest of eight children. Caring for her family and aging grandmother set the stage for a career based on compassion.

Sheila graduated from Auburn University at Montgomery with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. She is a licensed Assisted Living Administrator. Sheila's industry experience began with Health Care Group Alterra, where she was an Executive Director and Memory Care Specialist. She expanded her experience with Sunrise Assisted Living and joined HarborChase five years ago. Her clinical background, coupled with a heartfelt commitment to improving the lives around her, define her role as Executive Director. She embraces the opportunity to mentor others so success can be shared.

Sheila is married to James Wilson, who is a retired United States Marine. They have four sons -- Phillip, James, Rhishard and Henri -- who are the love of their lives. She is well respected amongst her peers and is a mentor and trainer to many Assisted Living Administrators and Nursing Directors.
